One week's riding trek exploring the canyons, high plateaux,
villages and almond groves of the Pre-Pyrenees.
For exhilarating riding in a remote, wild and beautiful landscape this trek cannot be bettered. The trek is organised and run by Bertrand Cauchy whose balanced and responsive Hispano Arab horses are always in excellent condition and perfectly adapted to the terrain. The Sierras are protected natural parks teeming with wildlife and flowers with scenery straight out of the wild west and are as you would imagine Spain would have been centuries ago. Bertrand is not only a consumate horseman, he knows the sierras better than anyone and will show you some of the most magical spots in the whole of the Pyrenees and has some wonderful stories about the history and people of this fascinating area. Accommodation is in farm guesthouses and hotels. Groups are a maximum of 8 riders. |
