Above the Añisclo Canyon

Towards Monte Perdido

July and August 2008 a week's trek exploring the highlights of the Ordesa National Park. The route takes in the breathtaking Ordesa and Añisclo canyons and two 3000m+ peaks - Taillon 3144m and Monte Perdido 3355m, Europe's highest limestone peak and the third highest in the Pyrenees. The alpine flowers, bird and wildlife will be spectacular on this mid July trek. Like the Peak Week trek this is a demanding trek in wild, high mountain scenery and requires a good level of fitness.
